August/September 2011
This issue of British Woodworking (BW25) features the introduction of our Foundations tips and techniques, scattered around the magazine. These ideas, sometimes no more than a photo, other times full features, aim to provide the fundamental building blocks for better woodworking. The aim is that Foundations are the skills and experience and knowledge that can be used for many different purposes and projects.
Gerwyn Lewis is also new to British Woodworking. Once a founder of the Green Wood Trust, Gerwyn, who runs one-on-one courses in Shropshire, introduced us to a remarkable turning device for quicker production turning, and we hope he will write regularly on his many and varied woodworking interests.
